Type B aluminum camlock coupler is normally used with Type F adapter, sometimes Type A & E and DP (Dust Plug) of identical size.
Cam and groove couplings make the hose connect/disconnect in a snap and eliminate complicated operation of thread and flange.
You just insert the male adapter into the female coupler until contact is made with the gasket. Then press down the arms to produce a uniform gasket compression.
